Temple Yoga & Meditation invites you to an ideal short break yoga retreat in Sayolonga in the beautiful Andalusian Mountains in the south of Spain to help you connect to your true self, re-boost your energy and empower yourself with different forms of yoga. Mother and daughter will be teaching different styles of Yoga. You will also be experiencing a sound bath with the healing sound of Tibetan bowls, crystal bowls, Gong and other instruments, to enhance relaxation and harmonize the body. This ideal, peaceful place amidst the beautiful Andalusian Mountains has stunning views of the mountains, white-washed villages and the sea. Our Chef will prepare from scratch healthy, tasty, simple vegetarian meals from local organic produce, bringing you a variation of different tastes and spices and inspire you.
If you have special dietary requirements, for example vegan or gluten-free , or have food intolerances we will adapt the meals for you. Please let us know with your reservation.

Meet our Team
Susan was born and raised in a little fishing village in Southern Ireland. Her journey into yoga began in the 1980’s, as a young mum with two small children. Over the years, Susan’s passion for the practice grew until it became a way of life. She delivers the class quietly, encouraging participants to work within their own limits and to be compassionate and inspired by, rather than judgmental of their own or fellow participants abilities. She began her teaching career over ten years ago. Susan’s practice is strongly influenced by her deep rooted love of nature. Working close to the earth she communicates with common garden weeds carefully selecting and using them in healing creams, oils, ointments and ritual smudge bundles. Some years ago Susan studied Herbs and Weeds under the the watchful eye of Pat Collins, Hunter Valley, Australia. She co facilitates a TreeSisters circle once a month, encouraging women to come together realising their magnificence, their brilliance, their ability to create, and to heal the earth.
Susan is also a Reiki Master and a Theta practitioner and also uses Reflexology to treat her clients.
Emy (Kamal Adesh)
Emy is deeply passionate about supporting people to be the best version of themselves, to feel empowered, to shine their light, to feel safe, strong, confident and courageous in their full power. Utilising her skills as an educator and holistic counsellor Emy brings together a nurturing, peaceful way to her Kundalini Yoga classes, Yoga Nidra Meditations and private sessions. As a bush flower essence practitioner, she sees the body from an energetic perspective and helps support the processes of not just our physical body, but mind and spirit to return home to the true self. Her main purpose in life is just to be as loving, truthful, compassionate, and kind as she can be to Mother Earth and everyone around her, whilst showing up in her own unique authenticity.
Tiziana, born of English & Italian parents, is multi-lingual and has experienced many different European cultures. Through her prior work with children and her approach in a holistic way using Food as medicine and applying movement and relaxation therapies and sound she is able to incorporate her true passions. Currently working with different retreat centres, for many years she has enjoyed cooking for different retreats and enjoys inspiring people with simple good vegetarian/vegan food. Tiziana is a Certified Yoga teacher and a Sound Massage specialist and a Body, Spirit and Mind health Instructor (certified Peter Hess Institute, Germany). Tiziana offers sound journeys and Sound Massages using Tibetan Singing Bowls and Gong resulting in deep relaxation, cleansing and rebalancing of the mind, body and spirit. Furthermore she also offers various other therapies (Reiki, ayurvedic reflexology, Meditation, Cacao Ceremonies). She enjoys the interaction with people during the retreats

All activities are voluntary. For us the most important thing is that you can relax and you feel comfortable and enjoy this special time. The Casa has a beautiful pool but also many nice areas where you can sit and finally read that book, or take a walk down to the river and enjoy the beautiful countryside.
Check in time 16:00*. Check out time 12:30.
*We understand that sometimes flight schedules aren’t optimal, let us know and there is no problem in arriving later to the retreat. We will do the opening ceremony on Friday morning.
- Flight to and from Malaga.
- Transfer airport – casa arrival. We have a fixed transfer time (departure from airport or Malaga city center). If you travel at that time you pay 30 euros per person. We can also arrange a transfer for you, but then the costs are higher (80-100 euro). Of course you can also rent a car yourself via, for example, www.rentalcars.com
- A travel and / or cancellation insurance.
- Personal Expenses like additional drinks on the beach etc.

TIP: Many participants book a day and night in Malaga before or after the retreat. This is highly recommended. It is a very nice and relaxed city by the sea.
There are 2 Main houses. You can choose between an individual room (530euro) or a shared twin room (480euro). All rooms have an en-suite bathroom. All rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated in a Moroccan style and enjoying a private terrace. They are all equipped with linen and bath towels.
Yoga & Meditation
Our yoga retreat is suitable for all levels. The yoga sessions are both for beginners and for more experienced people. Yoga and meditation experience is not required; the sessions are accessible for everyone.
Kundalini Yoga with Emy
Is an uplifting blend of spiritual and physical practices, Kundalini Yoga incorporates movement, dynamic breathing techniques, meditation, and the chanting of mantras, such as Sat Nam, meaning “truth is my identity.” The goal is to build physical vitality and increase consciousness. Kundalini yoga is the key is to unlock your true infinite potential, it works quickly and powerfully bringing you into a place where you can make the best choices. This combination of techniques will strengthen neural pathways, the brain, clear the mind and help your heart stay open strengthening the feeling of being your true self.
Temple Yoga with Susan
A soft practice, slow, deep and meditative, holding postures, surrendering to the softness, letting go of the tight grip we have on false security, gaining trust in our breath and our inner voice. Becoming more mindful, observant insightful and compassionate in our day to day lives. When we let go, all obstacles disappear, our vision becomes clearer our decision making easier.
What kind of people come to our retreats?
Our groups are for Women only, of various ages and from all paths of life. Mostly people come alone but sometimes we have also friends coming together, or mother and daughter sharing special time together.
A retreat is a great way to meet like-minded people and make new friends.
All activities during the retreat are voluntary, there is no pressure. You are free to do as you feel.
We choose to work with small groups. There will be a maximum of 10 people participating.

What awaits on a typical day on our Temple Yoga and Meditation Retreat: day description
We start the day with an uplifting practice of Yoga, to welcome you to and to prepare you for the day ahead, followed by a wonderful healthy breakfast, workshop. Afterwards our chef will serve a tasty, vibrant, and inspiring lunch. You can plan your afternoon siesta as you please, by enjoying a beautiful walk, read a book, have a swim in the pool or just get to know and converse with your fellow participants. You will have the opportunity to enjoy a beautiful Sound Journey. Also expect some special treats thrown in along the way…….Our Chef invites you to a flavorful dinner. We will end the day with Kundalini Yoga Nidra and tea, preparing you for a good night sleep.
